Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: 1 year recent/strong cath lab experience required; first-time travelers accepted. License: ARRT-R and/or RCIS accepted Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: - Strong cath lab experience - Ability to work on-call and weekends - Comfort with floating within the specialty Description: Seeking a Cath Lab Tech to join our team. The position requires working 3x12 or 4x10 day shifts. On-call scheduling is a part of the role, with approximately 8 weeknight and 4 weekend shifts on call per 6-week schedule. All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of the offer. Holiday time off should not exceed one major and one minor holiday during the fall/winter season. Candidates must have experience with cardiac procedures, including diagnostic catheterizations and percutaneous coronary interventions. Essential skills include cardiac implant closure device placement, IABP placement/removal, and interpretation of dysrhythmias. The candidate must work as a room circulator and maintain a sterile field. Strong candidates will demonstrate proficiency in recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias. This role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams. Flexibility and adaptability within the specialty are expected. Travelers are required to comply with all onboarding documentation requirements.
