About the Role

Ampa Events is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Coordinator to work directly alongside the owner in overseeing daily operations. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong organizational skills, operational oversight, and people management.

The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and solutions-oriented. You anticipate problems before they arise, build schedules that keep projects moving efficiently, and lead teams with accountability, consistency, and positivity. Must be familiar with inventory control in a warehouse.

This role is well suited for an experienced operations or office management professional — including candidates returning to the workforce after a career break.

MUST HAVE 3-5 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN THE EVENT INDUSTRY

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Administration

• Support daily business operations and company oversight
• Develop and maintain internal systems, workflows, and procedures
• Monitor labor hours, productivity, and operational efficiency
• Assist with budgeting, reporting, and business communications
• Identify operational improvements that reduce waste and increase efficiency

Scheduling & Logistics

• Build and manage personnel, trucking, and equipment schedules
• Coordinate repair, fabrication, and deployment timelines
• Resolve scheduling conflicts proactively to maintain project deadlines
• Will assist, or be lead, with on-site event installations as needed
• Assists in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and employee offboarding
• Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development
• Foster a respectful, accountable, team-oriented workplace culture
• Communicate policies and expectations clearly and consistently

Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• 3–5+ years of experience in operations, or business management
• Experience with HR processes, employee management, and scheduling
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing labor hours, budgets, and operational workflows
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
• Authorization to work in the United States

Preferred

• Experience in live events, event production, entertainment, logistics, or field services
• Experience with inventory control in warehouse and/or the event industry
• Ability to lead creative and non-traditional teams effectively
• Calm, positive leadership style under deadline pressure

Salary: $50,000 - $65,000
